“Matatag na Bayan Para sa Maunlad na Paaralan”

Dear stakeholders!

Brigada Eskwela is also known as the BAYANIHAN PARA SA PAARALAN. It is a nationwide voluntary effort of teachers, students, parents, community members, and other organizations both private and public institutions to do minor and major repairs and clean-ups on the school in preparation for the start of the school year. Nurturing the youth is not a responsibility that shall be solely carried out by the parents, or by the school alone. Everyone in the community has a stake in making sure that our children grow up as individuals of good intellectual and moral standing.

The school needs the help of the community in addressing the needs and gaps in educating the youth. This is recognized by the Department of Education by issuing DepEd Order 24 s. 2008 that institutionalized the Brigada Eskwela 2019 program or the National Schools Maintenance Week before the opening of classes on June 3, 2019.

We are knocking on your generous heart to help us meet our needs before the classes begin. Please refer to the Needs Assessment to see how you may be of help to us.

We have identified the workloads for rehabilitation, repair, and maintenance and the estimated cost of materials and labor. Please visit this link to see the document of what we need.

You may help us address those needs by donating materials, cash, or volunteering manual labor.

We are inviting you to the JZES Brigada Eskwela 2019 scheduled on May 20 – May 25, 2019. We would deeply appreciate your voluntary help for the school. Please communicate with us through phone number (02) 516-8263 or visit our school at West Zamora Street, President Quirino Avenue, Pandacan, Manila.

We will be very glad to work with you. Be part of creating a school environment that will help students to learn better.
